Congratulations to Dartmouth’s Seniors

One of my biggest wishes is that NCAA Women’s Hockey would get more attention.  Well that’s why this blog is here.  Without further ado, let’s congratulate the senior class of 2014-2015 as teams are eliminated from further play.

Team Highlights

  • Clinched ECAC Tournament spot (8th seed)
  • Defeated Ivy League rival #5 Harvard 4-2
    • Morgan Illikainen from Karlee Odland and Samantha Zeiss
    • Lindsey Allen from Illikainen
    • Brooke Ahbe from Olivia Whitford and Emma Korbs
    • Allen from Laura Stacey
  • Defeated #10 Cornell 3-2
    • Ailish Forfar from Stacey
    • Forfar from Allen and Stacey
    • Allen from Forfar.  (Lindsey Allen and Ailish Forfar were pretty good that night.)

Senior Highlights

  • Gianna Guarino saw her first career action in a 6-4 loss to St. Lawrence
  • Morgan Illikainen notched career highs in games played (30), goals (4), assists (7), and points (11).
  • Samantha Zeiss notched career highs in goals (5), assists (7), and points (12).
  • Karlee Odland notched career highs in goals (11), assists (10), and points (21).
