6:00 ET Cornell @ (8) Quinnipiac (Quinnipiac All-Access)

The Bobcats can put some distance between themselves and Cornell with a win this weekend. Quinnipiac has a two-point margin on the Big Red with one more game played in the ECAC.

2:00 ET (10) Northeastern @ Vermont (CatamounTV)

Hockey East is tight as can be with only four points separating third and last place. Vermont is three points back of the third-place Boston University Terriers but they hold three games in hand.

2:07 CT Ohio State @ Minnesota State (Stretch Internet)

The Mavericks look to pull themselves out of last place with a series versus seventh-place Ohio State.

3:00 ET Mercyhurst @ Rensselaer (RPI TV on YouTube)

The Lakers have had a rough go of things this season with a 3-8-1 record. It’s only the second time they’ve been below .500 through 10 games since the 2000-2001 season.  The other time was last season (4-5-1) so it appears Mercyhurst’s reign as unquestioned CHA champion is over.

3:00 ET (5) Colgate @ (8) Quinnipiac (Quinnipiac All-Access)

This is the first real test for the Raiders who have struggled against the better teams they’ve played. The Bobcats may be a favorable matchup as they sometimes have difficulty scoring and Colgate doesn’t.

2:00 ET (6) Boston College @ (10) Northeastern (GoNUxstream)

If Northeastern wins their Friday game against Vermont they’ll be able to pull into first place in Hockey East with a win here. The Huskies are the only real competition for the Eagles as third-place Boston University is eight points back.

2:00 ET Providence @ New Hampshire (UNH Athletics on YouTube)

At 3-3-1 the Friars are sitting pretty nicely in fourth place in the conference. They’re two points behind BU with two games in hand and one point up on New Hampshire with one game in hand. A win here would help to solidify them in that final home spot for the conference tournament.

2:00 ET Connecticut @ Vermont (CatamounTV)

Like the Friars, Vermont has an opportunity to stratify Hockey East. They sit one game up on the Huskies though UConn has a game in hand.
